Who He Is.

Thomas Tugnette is a Canadian landscape painter from Kingston, Ontario, focused on creating work that brings people back to a quieter, more present state of being. He paints waterfalls as a way to return to something he experienced in his youth — moments spent outdoors, fully immersed, free from pressure, and completely present. That feeling became harder to access over time, and through his work, he recreates it.

These paintings are spaces where the noise softens, the weight of responsibility eases, and for a moment, nothing is required of you. A pause. A reset. And a return to being.

Thomas's work has been featured in American Art Collector Magazine and exhibited at Art Fest Kingston, the Square Foot Art Show, Cunningham Swan Law Firm, and Kingston Frameworks Gallery, with a solo show planned for August 2026 in Kingston, Ontario.
