- Can cremated remains be incorporated into Tribute Art™?
- Yes. Select Tribute Art™ pieces can incorporate a small portion of cremated remains into the artwork or memorial piece. Products offering this option will clearly indicate it on their product page.
- How much of the cremated remains will you need?
- The amount required varies by product. For Embellished Art, the Memorial Kit we send you includes an appropriately sized memorial bag along with instructions outlining the amount needed and how to return it.
- How do I send cremated remains to you?
- For Embellished Art, we send you a Memorial Kit within 1–2 business days of your order. It contains instructions, an appropriately sized memorial bag, a prepaid return shipping label and a GPS tracker that travels with the cremated remains to Tribute Art™, providing an additional level of visibility and reassurance in transit. You place the required portion into the memorial bag and return the kit according to the instructions provided. One $250 refundable GPS tracker deposit is required per order — a single tracker accompanies each order, however many Embellished Art pieces it includes — and it is refunded once the tracker is returned to us in returnable condition. Please do not send cremated remains until you have received your Memorial Kit and instructions from Tribute Art™. - How are cremated remains handled?
- Cremated remains entrusted to Tribute Art™ are treated with dignity, care, and respect throughout the process. Identification and handling procedures are followed from receipt through incorporation into the finished memorial.
- Will all of the cremated remains I send be used?
- Only the amount required for the selected memorial will be incorporated. For Embellished Art, any unused cremated remains are returned to you together with your completed artwork, and the GPS tracker travels with them on the journey home. Instructions regarding the required amount and the handling of any remaining portion are included in your Memorial Kit.
- Can I tell that cremated remains are incorporated into the artwork?
- This will depend on the piece and artistic process. In many of our artistic applications, the intention is for the cremated remains to become a discreet and meaningful part of the artwork rather than its defining visual feature.
- Can I incorporate the cremated remains of more than one person?
- This may be possible for select products. Contact Tribute Art™ before ordering so we can confirm whether your chosen piece can accommodate your wishes.
- Do I have to incorporate cremated remains?
- No. Where incorporation is offered as an option, you can choose whether it is right for you and your family.
