Embellished Art
Frequently asked questions about embellished art.

- What is Embellished Art?
- Embellished Art brings fine art and remembrance together. The selected artwork is enhanced by hand with paint mixed with cremated remains to add texture, depth, and meaning, creating a distinctive finished piece for your home.
- Does the artist embellish my artwork?
- It depends on the artist. Tamara's artwork is embellished by Tamara, Shane's artwork is embellished by Shane, and Thomas's artwork is embellished by Thomas. Artwork from other participating artists is carefully embellished by Tamara or Thomas, ensuring each piece receives the same thoughtful attention and care throughout the process.
- Can my full art piece be embellished?
- No. Embellishment is limited by the amount of cremated remains and is focused on select areas to enhance the artwork. Because each piece is individually hand-embellished by an artist, embellishing the entire artwork would require significantly more artist time and cremated remains than are included in the standard embellishment process.
- Is every Embellished Art piece exactly the same?
- No. Since each piece is individually embellished by hand, subtle variations may occur. These variations are part of what makes each finished artwork unique.
- Can cremated remains be incorporated into Embellished Art?
- Yes, our Embellished Art means that small portion of cremated remains is respectfully prepared and mixed with paint to embellish the artwork as part of the creation process.
- Who are the artists behind the artwork?
- Tribute Art™ works with a growing group of artists whose work offers different styles, subjects, and ways to express remembrance. Artist information is provided with participating artwork wherever applicable.
- Can I request changes to an existing artwork?
- Available customization depends on the artwork and the artist. If you're looking for something more personalized, our artist collaboration options may be a better fit.
